The Winston Heights Public School canteen is run by the P&C who employs a canteen supervisor three days a week. We always welcome volunteers (parents, grandparents, or friends of the school community) to help in the canteen. Training is provided by the canteen supervisor and its a great way to meet other parents and be a part of the school community. If you have time, please consider volunteering. You are welcome to speak to our P&C canteen co-ordinator or contact the school office for further details.
The Canteen operates in line with the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy. This strategy supports student health and wellbeing by increasing the number of healthy food and drink choices available in the school canteen. Our aim is to make it easier for students to make the healthy choice the first choice.
Our canteen is open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am to 2.00pm for over the counter sales and recess and lunch orders. Lunch orders can be placed via Flexischools before 8.30am on the day, or by paper bag with cash placed in canteen order box by 8.30am on the day. The child’s name and class must be clearly written on the paper bag.

Ocassionally the canteen will be open for over the counter items during lunch- 1.20 to 2.00pm on Monday or Tuesday. This will be advertised on the Winston Heights Public School app and in the school newsletter.
