Canteen

The Winston Heights PS canteen is run by the P&C who employ a canteen supervisor four days a week (Tuesday-Friday).

Volunteers (parents, grandparents, or friends of the school community) are always welcome to help in the canteen. Training is provided by the canteen supervisor and it is a great way to meet other parents and be part of the school community.

If you have time, please consider volunteering. You are welcome to speak with our P&C canteen coordinator or contact the school office for further details.

The canteen operates in line with the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy. This strategy supports student health and wellbeing by increasing the number of healthy food and drink choices available in the school canteen. Our aim is to make it easier for students to make the healthy choice the first choice.

Canteen opening times

Our canteen is open Tuesday,  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am to 2pm for recess orders and lunch orders. Over the counter sales occur at lunch time on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Order from our canteen

Canteen recess and lunch orders can be placed before 8:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday:

• via Spriggy Schools at https://www.spriggyschools.com.au or
• by writing your child's name, class and items to order clearly on a paper bag. Put money in the paper bag and place the paper bag in the canteen order box (located outside the canteen).

The current menu and pricing is available at the canteen and via the school office.
